Agreement further deepens ConverterTechnology’s portfolio with a cost-effective, rapid solution for those companies migrating from Access to SQL
Nashua, NH – March 31, 2014 – ConverterTechnology, data risk management experts, today announces a partnership agreement with CU2 Global, developers of 2SQL – the only “silver bullet” technology for automating the conversion and migration of Microsoft Access data and applications to Microsoft SQL. The partnership expands ConverterTechnology’s service offerings that also include solutions for data network security and data risk associated with Microsoft Windows and Office migrations.
Shawn Allaway, CEO for ConverterTechnology stated, “ConverterTechnology began because we recognized a need in the marketplace to help enterprise-level companies mitigate their risk when initiating an upgrade to newer versions of Microsoft Windows and Office. Through the years we have continued to evolve and develop products that help companies reduce risk across the entire technology spectrum. With our M3 for Access™ solution powered by 2SQL we can provide our clients with the most comprehensive data risk mitigation solutions – from documents to data to operating system migrations – for any size company.”
2SQL tools help identify business critical Microsoft Access files, measure their complexity, and provide an automated determination of issues required to be resolved for a migration to Microsoft SQL Server. In addition to these planning features, 2SQL provides the most comprehensive solution to automatically mitigate the issues and deploy the database into the SQL Server environment. By automating the conversion and migration process, 2SQLtypically reduces project timelines in excess of 80% and costs by an order of 60%.
CU2 Global’s president, Andrew Dale commented, “For CU2 Global, this partnership agreement is a fundamental building block of the international growth and success of 2SQL. For over 15 years, ConverterTechnology has met the data migration needs of globally and nationally recognized Fortune 500 companies. We couldn’t ask for a better partner to help us expand the 2SQL footprint to North America and Europe.”
